I agree 100% lol.
The idea is actually based off a game I spent a good 2 years of my life playing hard core lol.
Final Fantasy XIV online. The game featured a minion system that works basically just like this lol.
It is in my personal experience the most in depth, multi-layered, diverse and addictive game ever made lol. There is a reason why over 21 Million players and counting play it worldwide haha. I don't advise anyone to play it lol! I stopped playing it over a year ago because I Just don't have the time to invest in video games with work, gym and women lol!

But enough about me, and more about the work!
The wheelhouse is turning lol.
Currently prepping the animations and sprites for the minion darkrai.

You probably cant tell front he still images at the moment but
he will have a full body sparkling shiny effect shimmering over his body at all times
in extreme high detail.
he will also be coded to hover and float around the character at a different rate than the other minions
to further add that original effect.
Now to code the final parts and compete the animation sequence and test him out@!
Back to work...Tomorrow we resume the madness!

Alrighty ladz we are back out of the kitchen!
After several hours of hard work, animation testing and fine tuning, now the Shiny Darkrai minion addon for Guy is complete, lets test him out!

Now I think that came out pretty guud lol.
Now that's complete, it's time to begin work on grayfox's suggestions that we Must add in order to make the Ultimate successor character to the original Dragon guy!
So to start off we must work on the voice modifications.

Hahaha yeee boi i heard about that. They had Pokemon videos playing on the sides of buildings in Tokyo all weekend about it lol to celebrate. My GF doesnt know this yet, but she is getting the new Limited edition Pokemon scarlet violet Nintendo Switch OLED with the pokemon scarlet/violet steel book edition for christmas because she always wanted a switch and loves pokemon lol.

We have voice Mods to take care of for GRAYFOX lol

So for step 1, I have isolated all of the voice/hit/damage voice sound files so that we can modify and create the
dark "Dragon Guy" style voice we need to really give the character his edge.

Now we can begin editing each individual voice to give it that real low pitch, reverb enhanced, dark deep dragon effect lol

Once all the voice samples are done we can import them and overwrite the original default Guy voice files.

Now we have to decide on the stance.
I have ripped the original voice transformation sample from SyN's D.Guy that he uses in the intro along with.
I think that in order to fulfill mr grayfox's suggestion, we will start off with the normal colored guy in his bushinryu jutsu stance:

Now to get really busy lol.
Now it would be too easy for us to simply just 100% copy ther original intro sequence created by sYn, and so we will now take things up a notch
and add the lore of Battlecry retribution into the story of Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Guy, by adding the CRYogenesis engine power up augmentations into his intro sequence transformation.
We have to prove that he has been training for 1000 years in the temple lol

So you will definitely remember this guy lol:

The Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon.
This is the Dragon that our Warriors absorb his power from to power up.
When our warriors absorb the power of Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon it makes them more powerful than regular Characters.
They gain the following abilities:

Max Power Gauge charge increase from 3000 to 5000]
DEF Increase of +30
ATK Increase of +30
HP Increase of +200
Normal Characters will have problems trying to defeat them lol.

So in the original Dragon Guy, he has the "RYU" dragon symbol appear on himself.
But we need to customize the intro to include the cipher dragon, starting with a power up aura as Guy channels the Cipher dragon to absorb its power.
Starting with this aura effect

It is fantastic as always my friend, the effects on the pet and his movement look amazing.
I can't wait to see the intro design that Grayfox suggested to be put in action.

And now, we can create the Galaxyt-Eyes summoning effect.
I wanted to recreate the effect that was used in original Dragon guy while also, using some inspiration
from teh yugioh Anime of when the dragon is summoned, but in reverse version, so it is like the dragon will appear and then
his energy is sucked into the character

And now it is time to reveal the 2nd to last test - The Tekken style Aura.
here it is. This one actually took a few hours as I wasnt happy with the positioning and movement of the electrical charges.
I wanted it to match the Minion as close as possible

I completely forgot to test the KO finisher text animations.
And lucky I did because there were several issues needing scale correction.
But now, without further delay, I present to you, the final test.

In summary, we completed over 16.5 Hours ($297.00) worth of work on Cipher Dragon guy to make him the highest quality level character for Battlecry.
