If ever they release them in great form and quality, i'll then nominate them for Contrib Stat.

Should HungryWolf get "GFX Rank" for a screenpack? I thought contributor would have been more suitable.

He hasn't released it yet, so the screenpack is then considered as GFX Art.

ill say wait and give him more time so he can learn more about spriting plus as far as i know the rank is mean for the ppl that have basically mastered about certain graphic art.

Isnt really a complex char so editing the sprites is easy plus still have too many issues with proportions and shading when converting, if most of the sprites where made from scratch i would agree but they arent.

I may not reply on is WIP thread but that doesnt means i havent saw is work.
Just give him more time to practice and learn about spriting so he can make more and better sprites imo.

Sure his sprites have room for improvement like you said, but I've seen way worse. If I had to guess, he's finished so many sprites so far he isn't gonna back track and make a major overhaul(I wouldn't do it)

He seems to take feedback/criticism well, and fixes what's necessary. At the rate he's going, he can only improve. Plus he gives guys jill boobs

Yeah, I agree with Gen. The sprites look fine, and they animate pretty well, even if he used bases. Hell, I even think that was a smart move from him. Look at some of the spriters that don't use bases, their output sprites look like wobbly crap. You say The Apex isn't a complex character, so what? At least the guy has the determination to finish it. If ever 100SadPandas decide to update and improve the already made sprites, then much better, but so far, the sprites look pretty good.

I wish I would get notifications when you guys talk about me, lol.

Excahm I really appreciate the feedback man. Just a thing though, if you thought the sprites needed work I would really appreciate it if you told me. It doesn't help me get better I don't know my sprites need to be worked on. I respect your opinion though.

Now about the "Need more work" part is about details such the belt and the shading cuz you add sprites form other styles.

I made this update months ago and announced it in my maintenance thread, read more! I thought it'd be a good idea for everyone to see so nominees can get tips for improvement.

There's a display of ranks at the bottom of the forum with descriptions, MP. Feel free to make that thread if you like.

Anywho, IMHO, I agree with MP i can't really see contributor for Pandas just yet since there has been no official content released, with the exception of some really cool sprites, that being said i'd say +1 for Pandas as gfx artist and contributor after more wip progress.


As for HungryWolf, same thing gfx artist for sure.

Then I guess it's decided, they'll get the rank. As for the maintenance thread, i'll check it out later.
