As a relay on the finished work that EX-Sirius has done already, there were just a few modifications that were brought up during the process of the commission that shall be addressed now.

1. Repositioning of the Powerbar to the lower corners of the screen with backing effects to declutter Simul mode
2. Timer Font update as per the mockup Ex-Sirius created
3. The removal of all old Combo/Round Count/Winner/Announcer Sounds/GFX in favor of keeping the Add004 GFX.

I believe that is all that was discussed in terms of modifications after the initial project was finished.

I can easily work on all these updates for you as discussed.
As we have already discussed most aspects of this project in the previous topic, there will be little planning required so Just a few quick questions:

RE: powerbar system fonts
A. would you like to also include the powerbar level HD custom fonts e.g lvl 1/2/3 indicator?
And if so, would you like fonts for up to Lvl 5 Max charge (for chars that use power = 5000) (recommended option)
only for power charges up to lvl 3 (chars with more than power = 5000)

B. you do not require any fonts for the powerbar[/b]

RE: Timer font system
No problem timer font creation/placement and .def/.sff compilation + testing will only be 1.5-2 hours maximum so this is no issue. no further discussions required.


RE:  removal of all old Combo/Round Count/Winner/Announcer Sounds/GFX in favor of keeping the Add004 GFX:

Which of the following is correct just to confirm:
A. You require only the base fight.def combo font system/round.anims disabled in favor of the default bs0 add004 system explods/helpers with no additional aesthetic changes to them

B. you require the add004 combo message font system/messages/round anims etc to be updated to HD/citrix style aesthetics to match the overall design

Please confirm these and then we can proceed to the next planning step.

I will not require any fonts for the power bar as Power values shall stay at 3000. If 5000 would ever be required I would much rather at 2 extra pips to both powerbars than a font.

Here is the final completed project summary as discussed.

Project summary
Update & apply cosmetic upgrades & layout fixes to Client's custom Mugen lifebar system "Citrix" Lifebar system.
Tweak fight.def font/round call anim system to further accomodate the Integrated Add004 mugen addon system.
implement custom counter font system

Detailed Project Overview
- Client requires the default round.anims system and combo counter announcer font system in the mugen fight.def to be disabled in favor of the add004 bso addon round announcer helpers/explods.
- Client requires.an updated HD Font replacement.for the default citrix timer system as discussed
 (Normal Newagemugen daily progress system with 24hourly intermittent update posts until day of completion rules will apply)
- Client is Using Mugen 1.1 (PC Specs are Ryzen 5 5600X/ GTX 3070 / 32gb DDR4-3200)
- Client requires the current powerbar system to be moved down to the bottom of screen in traditional cps2 HUD Layout style.
- Overall design to be maintained, but will be recreated from scratch using HD resources and tweaked/improved where necessary

progress update:

I has not happy with the size of the powerbars after moving them to the bottom of the screen.
They made sense to be scaled small in proportion to the HP bars when side by side, but not when on the lower screen with large available real estate.
I have since spent a few hours at no charge to completely revectorize, recalculate, and reposition them with a few subtle aesthetic effect changes, in a larger scale similar to tekken rage arts guage or sf5 style meter sizes.

The next step will be redesigning and animating the custom backer frames as per the top screen ones but behind the powerbars

I have also updated the animation timings/speed on the powerbar backers.

(Sidenote: I added a few extra hours for the powerbar backer animations as a bonus at no charge. I havent applied the same animation to the upper portion lifebar backers or frame accents but this could be easily done/improved/altered if ever required although I think the design as it is already serves its purpose.)

Last portion of the payment has been made. I can definitely say from the looks of it that this project is done and with such a huge upgrade to the lifebars I definitely think I'll be in the market for a custom SP sometime in the near future to coincide with this update.

Okay so everything seems to be working fine, except for one thing and I've never encountered this before. The game speed is like on Turbo 5 even though the option is set to normal and I'm not exactly sure how to fix that.

Could you please post your full mugen.cfg settings here as text?

That is indeed unusual.
I have not seen this type of bug in mugen before.
The work we have done is purely limited to the Fight.def/fight.sff/fight snd/fonts file within your add004 bs0 res folder.
For this reason, there is nothing there that can affect the framerate/speed.
I cannot seem to replicate the same error on my end.

Game speed and frames is controlled purely by the mugen.cfg file and ultimately the mugen.exe launcher itself.

My suggestion is to either:

1. Try the extracted build on another pc
2. Make sure you are using the bs0 add004 launcher
3. Try reinstalling your SP on a fresh 4GB Patched mugen 1.1b
4. Overwrite the mugen.cfg file with a fresh vanilla one and update accordingly as required

Please let me know how you get on

I figured out what it was. For some reason inside the mugen.cfg. The gamespeed was ticked at 999 frames per second. Just a simple fix. We're good now.
