Design? what do you mean by "design?".
In the graphic design industry, the term "design" is used divide a large project into sub-parts that need to be created individually.
In the case of specific MUGEN commissions such as screenpacks/fullgames, a design would refer to each individual menu/select/intro/vs/fight screen, or any interface/menu screen that is required within the project.
The number of designs required will vary depending on your commission type, and the complexity of your project.
When discussing the project, you must specify everything you require require so the designer can calculate how many designs are needed to complete your request.
For example, a fully complete Mugen fullgame/screenpack is a large commission that could require up to 19 designs or more.

This variable is used to calculate both the MINIMUM cost and TOTAL cost of your commission.
By default, when doing your initial quote, we charge all designs out at the base rate of 1 HOUR per design.
For example, if you required 15 designs, without working out the no.of hours required per design, we can calculate the absolute minimum cost via our formula as follows:
By default, when doing your initial quote, we charge all designs out at the base rate of 1 HOUR per design.
For example, if you required 15 designs, without working out the no.of hours required per design, we can calculate the absolute minimum cost via our formula as follows:
VAR01 x (VAR02 x VAR03) = COMMISSION COST
hourly rate x (no.of designs x no.of hours req) = Commission cost
$18 USD x (15 x 1) = $270 USD.
hourly rate x (no.of designs x no.of hours req) = Commission cost
$18 USD x (15 x 1) = $270 USD.
To simplify this even further, this means that a Mugen commission that required 15 designs, would cost a minimum of $270 USD to create.
When discussing your project, always try and sway the client to keep each design achievable within a 1 hour design.
If a particular design requires a higher number of hours to complete, always let the client know this and suggest alternatives where applicable.
