yeah, its because of the way irfanview dithers. i had this problem when i was making a certain stage and diss recommended i use it, it worked.

Example:
When I used photoshop to index it(this isnt the ver. dithered with PS but it still gets the point across)

When I dithered with irfanview

I'm indexing with GIMP right now. I'll DL infraview and see if I can reduce the colorloss that's already on it.

Tight concept on that last one. The floors kinda dark, tho. But I like it...  

Its one of those concepts that just never worked out in the end. I really did try a lot of stuff when i was working on it. GLB even tried to revamp it but isn't worth the extra effort.
Its a REALLY small stage (due to the source image) and I tried redrawing everything so it would be bigger (on multiple occasions) and G even had me try out a squarer version, still just didnt work out.
I learned a lot though
