I just started looking around to see what Mugen sites are still active and when I try go to Mugen Fighters Guild it says "502 Bad gateway".
Did that site die out?
What are the main other mugen sites nowdays apart from this one?

A 502 Bad Gateway Error is a generic server communication error message.
It can be a variety of things but doesn't mean a site is permanently dead necessarily.
Can be:

- faulty firewall configuration
- DNS Server address changes
- Issue with the host web/forum server

You can still access it up to the most recent point if you use the wayback engine

My friend said that nobody really knows the real reason why it is offline because the person responsible for looking after the web server has not made any announcements about anything.
Maybe someone is absent or on holiday and something happened and they dont know about it
