With the little build TNA Had for Slammiversary ,I was expecting another bad PPV, boy was I glad to be wrong, this was by far their best PPV this year and better than what WWE has going on.

What a great way to open up the PPV, the crowd was crazy for this match and were split(cheering both Joe and Aries), This match was fantastic and easily one of my Fav matches of 2012, After Aries won, he and Joe showed each other respect via brofists. Classic stuff, hoping to see a Aries Vs Joe 2.

~ Hernandez Def. Kid Kash
lol I didn't really care for this match as it was just filler added in at the last moment.

- Devon & Garrett Bischoff Def. Robbie E. & Rob Terry
Three nobodies getting a PPV slot, hooray, Devon had to carry this fucken match, that's how bad the others in this match were. God.

+ Mr.Anderson Def. Jeff Hardy & Rob Van Dam For A No.1 Contendership For a World Title Match
Good match, I'm just glad Jeff Hardy wasn't the winner.

+ James Storm Def. Crimson in a Open Challenge to End Crimson's Year long winning streak
the Cowboy returns and squashes this jabroni rather quickly, sorry about your damn luck Crimson but nobody gave a shit about you or your streak.


+ Miss Tessmacher Def. Gail Kim(c) for the TNA Knockouts Championship
Decent match and I am very impressed on how Tessmacher has improved with her in ring work, and if this was TNA's way of rewarding her, then by all means I'm cool with it, especially since she was the hometown girl and this PPV was in Texas. I got tired and bored of Gail's Reign, TNA needed a fresh face as the champion.

+ Joseph Park Def. Bully Ray in a Anything Goes Match
for those who don't keep up with TNA, Joseph Park storyline wise is Abyss's brother looking for him, Abyss is Joseph Park btw.
this match was rather very entertaining, I was wondering how they were gonna play out this storyline and how Abyss handles both his characters..
the best way possible? Have a stunt double who's from Team 3-D's wrestling school play as Abyss while Abyss himself stays in character(Joseph Park). Well executed. Abyss should do Hollywood, he's a great actor.

* A.J Styles & Kurt Angle Def. Kazarian & Christopher Daniels(c) for the Tag Team Championships
Another one to add to my list of best matches of 2012, damn this was great, everyone had their best moments in this match, everything was well executed, I am very happy at the outcome, Styles and Angle as a Team and Champs? OH HELL YEAH.

~ Robert Roode(c) Def. Sting to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
One of the few times Sting actually puts in more work in a match, I'm glad Roode retained but having him win dirty just got me annoyed because at some point, TNA has to establish that their Heel champ can win CLEAN, but no..it gets worse, Sting gets up and destroys Roode, I mean really, for once..can we get a Strong Credible Heel? PLEASE?! the ending pissed me off..sting reigning supreme.

Other Good Things
+ Crowd was alive and into the PPV
+ Solid Lineup and Structure
+ Sting Being the first Inductee to the TNA HOF and not Jerrett(THANK GOD!)

Other Bad Things
- Christian Cage one time only appearance on TNA used just to present TNA's No.1 voted top moment which was Sting Debuting. The crowd was cheering for him and a shit load of Christian Cage Hand Signs all over the place, but that's all they use him for.
- Bad build up, but thankfully, it did not hurt the PPV at all.


Overall, a very solid and very good PPV, TNA delivered for their 10 year anniversary of their Company's existence. I give this PPV a 8.5/10, by far TNA's best PPV of the year.

Seeing Christian there again made me remember his TNA days where he was their Top guy..
2 Successful Title reigns(Both Lasted around 5 months) holding the most prestigious title in the wrestling industry, NWA World Title, many legends carried that belt, and I'm glad he got the chance to be NWA Champion, especially after realizing that WWE would never treat Christian with the same level of respect TNA did.

+ Sheamus(c) Def. Dolph Ziggler to retain the World Heavyweight Championship
We all knew that Dolph wasn't gonna win, But we knew he could put up a good match with almost anyone, and here was one of them, great action and Ziggs put Sheamus through the ringer, the Crowd was into it and were chanting for Ziggler. one major flaw of this match, it was the opener of the PPV -_-, That's what WWE thinks of their No.2 Title Belt.


- Santino Marella Def. Ricardo Rodriguez in a Tuxedo Match
Much like what the crowd was chanting..this was a boring and atrocious comedy filler match, Crowd was chanting boring through entire match.

+ Christian(c) Def. Cody Rhodes to retain the Intercontinental Championship
Another Great match between two of my current fav performers, this match was very good for a IC title match, both of them put up a good show, Rhodes lost, but hopefully this means he's finally going to the main event.

~ Titus O'Neal & Darren Young Def. The Usos, Primo & Epico, Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd to Earn a Tag Team Championship Title Shot
Match was ok, Kidd got a good spot towards the end, Darren Young and Titus winning, don't know who these jabronis are, but all I know is That Young is the Black John Cena, dude looks goofy as hell with a fro, not to mention his goofy victory dance.

+ Layla(c) Def. Beth Phoneix to retain the Divas Championship
Pretty good match for a divas match, Glad Layla got the win, she's a way better performer than Kelly Kelly, she can and did put up a good show here.

- Sin Cara Def. Hunico
My my, how the mighty have fallen, after his injury, Sin Cara has lost alot of hype, I mean No one gave a shit about him in this match, they were chanting "We Want Ryder WOO WOO WOO" the entire time, even sadder that Hunico has to carry him in this match since all Sin Cara is, a spot monkey.

+ CM Punk(c) Def. Daniel Bryan and Kane to retain the WWE Championship
Great Pops for Bryan and Punk, but they were on Bryan's side majority of the time, kinda felt bad for Kane XD
Great match, but that is always expected from Punk and Danielson, they made it work with Kane in it, Punk wins after AJ attempts to interfere, I was hoping Danielson to win, but it is what it is.

- Ryback Def. Two Jobbers in a Handicap Match
I don't care about this clown so I don't know why Vince keeps pushing him, the crowd doesn't like him and they just chanted "GOLDBERG" through the entire time... NEXT!

~ John Cena Def. Big Show in a stipulation where if Show loses, Johnny Ace is Fired and if Cena loses, He's fired
Well, I didn't give a shit about this feud and the match proved why, nothing special, the only highlight was when Kingston,Ryder,Riley, and Brodus Clay came down to help out after the Refs were knocked out. Cena escapes and wins, Vince Fires Johnny Ace and Cena FU's him on the table and reigns supreme... didn't matter though, we would lose anyways, cause You know Vinny Mac isn't gonna take Cena off television at all, so if he lost and got fired, he would be back the next week. So yeah.

- Triple H appearence cutting a promo about something we already know that is gonna happen(Lesnar vs HHH at Summerslam)
- Kinda Flimsy Card Structure, you open your PPV with a world title match? sheesh.

- Johnny Ace Getting fired when he JUST got the job at Mania..the fuck?

Decent stuff in this PPV, but typical bland ending as usual, the Super Hero wins! YAY!!!!....I only Enjoyed 4 Matches, which were the title matches.. everything else was just bleh.. I give this PPV 6.5/10, not as good as TNA's last PPV. I enjoyed it up to the end where it just went to shit.. for an obvious reason.

Good god, John Cena's promo on Raw this week was horrendously corny, and to add insult to injury, he even tries backing it up by saying "It's a PG Show, only 9 years olds are watching" Way to make your Adult Fanbase look stupid WWE, that's a great way to make a profit, alienating the demographic you profit most out of.


I only liked three Things

- Jericho Returning and Ass Handing Cena on the Mic like a Bauss.

- SYCHO FUCKEN SID Returning and squashing Heath Slater. Age hasn't been good to him but he did good.

- Daniel Bryan Beating Punk and Kane, which earned him a Title Shot at MITB.

Everything else was just, bleh. Worst Promo of the year goes to that Fruit Loop assclown with his Star Wars referenced promo..JOOOOOOHNNNNNN CEEEEEEEENA. The respect he earned back on Extreme Rules...flushed down the toilet.

Oh yeah, Can't wait to see more of Bray Wyatt.. Husky Harris finally got himself a good gimmick, and he does it so well..

+ Kenny King Qualifying For The X-Division Championship Tournament, I was surprised that he was even allowed to appear on TNA because he's one half of the ROH Tag Team Champions, He's a phenomenal worker, Turns out his Contract with ROH expired, gonna be a big loss for them if TNA has him win the whole thing(which I want)

+ Jeff Hardy Vs James Storm, Great Match, Crowd was into it, I'm cool with Hardy winning this one, Storm is still ahead in the BFG Series.

+ Great Build to This Sunday's Destination X, And Proper Build to Next weeks Impact.

+ Great Video Packages For Aries, Angle, and Anderson

+ Crowd Was Alive as hell(Despite being the Impact Zone)


The Acceptable -

~ Brooke Tessmacher & Tara Vs. Madison Rayne & Gail Kim, Decent Match, and the right team went over(Tara & Tessmacher)

~ Josepth Park(Abyss) & Bully Ray Segment, not gonna complain, this was entertaining to watch, seriously Abyss, do hollywood.



The Bad -

- Devon vs Crimson for The TNA's Television Championship, this match was sloppy as all hell and I don't care about neither of these two, retire the belt or find someone else that isn't Devon..LIKE THE POPE D'ANGELO DINERO.

- Madison Rayne making out with Ref. Earl Hebner, WHAT IS THIS?!

- Styles, Daniels, and Kazarian Segment, please let Sunday be the last time Styles & Daniels feud, last years was horrible, and they already feuded like a million times now.. get it over with already.


- What I missed(went to the store)
? Dakota Darsow vs. Flip Cassanova, another X-Division Qualifying match, I missed it, had to go to the store and buy some soda, but from what my Girlfriend told me, it was a sloppy spot fest, one of them got injured in the face.


I give this weeks Impact a B, Very entertaining.

It's what I thought, Kenny King was just let go for violating his verbal agreement with ROH not to wrestle in other major promotions, however his Tag Team Title reign is still active until ROH makes a final decision about the belts.

I don't blame him for jumping from a sinking ship. Hope he wins this sunday.
