Yo swagga, I got a new boss coming up soon and it's Pyron in his true form. planet eater pyron. he's a onlslaugt edit so he has 2 forms. He'd seem to fit perfect for your full game's final boss.

That sounds like a good idea for Pyron's true form i'll like to see that, but honestly I don't think it'll my game because my game is a ground fighter type, now if my Ds vs Sf was marvelized then yeah it would most likely do, i'll use that for like an Marvel vs Capcom project I think it would fit more better in my opinion.

o yea damn you're right. It definately takes super jump to actually kick his ass and get away. I'm trying to atleast make him harder than onslaught. O yea, i think i remember seeing your boss being a bison pyron fusion. Man, I wish I could make my full cvs3 game into a ikemen.. know who could help me out with that?? It's a real good full game. I just really do not understand ikemen

Hey Swagga Kings. I have been away from my home PC over the past weeks so I have not had any opportunity to share progress/updates on the screenpack. Real life can get crazy busy sometimes - ya'll know what I'm talkin bout.

Anyways, I just wanted to let you know that the beta build of single vs/arcade mode is fully working now and has nothing missing - I have added the last touch which is the round.wins icons.

Another small update - did some more work on the select screen - its coming together well. I saw someone playing Dengeki Bunko today and it inspired me to use some of the design elements of that game in this.
The background will be fully animated and will scroll upwards like a hyperspace warp etc. May add other more advanced effects in the future, but i will add the basics there for now so we can move on to focus on the fonts/team mode select stuff.

More updates. I have finished coding and importing the HD select screen into Mugen from Photoshop. its 100% working now in-game. I have added some more things as you can see.

More importantly, after a few painful hours, i remembered how to create 1.1 Team menu fonts, and position them correctly - here are the menu selector font systems working now 100% in game. Solo mode, Simul mode, and team mode.

Next I need to fix the Random Select boxes, edit the stage select Bar, and remake/reposition the character names when they are selected etc

thats right. You see, the funny thing about making screenpacks and designing the artwork etc, is that all of the graphical stuff is easy for us and not time consuming.

The difficult and tricky stuff is all the little fine details. Like the fonts, positioning of the names, coding the lifebars and positioning them correctly for all the different modes like 2 vs 2, team mode, turns mode etc. But those are the things that have to be done right for it to feel and look like a real complete game.

Team mode name re-positioning is now done.
I re-positioned the name boxes and added some new text.
Also now using a better font for the character names - it is the Aircruiser italic font.
Now there's just one more thing to do before I move on to the vs screen - remake the Character select cursor icon.

Haha, thx man, but that aint nuthin. Thats was just a little teaser for the Beta build to get the game playable. we gonna be goin balls deep in the future builds with the animated logos and effects etc.

Alright - I have created the original custom cursors and coded them into select screen. Here is what they look like

For the vs screen I recorded and chopped up some transition screens from blazblue which i will be using as reference for the timings on when my animations and screen effects change and stuff. - should have sumthin up soon

progress - done half the vs screen intro fully animated. Here's a peak. I will change those borders in future builds.

This animation sequence above will fade out into the part where the vs portraits are. Now...I am not going to get too fancy with the second part just yet because, it is very possible that once you have finally finished all of your characters and rosters, you may want to think about upgrading all of the portraits and the character sprites to 1.1 32bit so you can use HD portraits for the vs, winner and select screens.
But for now, since you are still building the roster and working on characters, I wont make the 2nd vs screen too fancy as there will be no point.
I will work around the default portraits as they are here - I need to upgrade this screen below
