They have never done us wrong even once yet.
In fact the only time I was on the fence about a Tekken was when 4 came out and it was so fundamentally different to anything experienced before.
We had Tekken Tag and tekken 3 which changed the game of fighters but 4 was almost obscure to the point it felt empty or a step back at first.
But then as years past I realized how genius it was as a fighting game and how it was the first transition into what tekken would eventually be especially with the stage interaction wall usage, and with how it had levelled terrains ( i dont think there are any other stages after tekken 4 that had sloped floors like that right?

I don't know if you remember, but there was a really fun version of tekken on PS3 that was free to download on the PSN store called tekken revolution.
It was a limited time only and you could power up your fighter which made it a very broken fun game.
Every character had special moves which were like enhanced EX versions of their base attacks and were often unblockable or with unfair frame advantages and stuff.
well anyway if you never got to enjoy it, the good news is that a semi hacked version is now partially playable on ps3 emulator.
the info and download links for the game ROM are all in the video description:
Here is the guide to how to play:
