Newagemugen forums has a diverse ranking system - ranks are divided into Tiers or "classes".
This ranking system originates from the early days of club syndicate Xtreme forums where Newagemugen began,
and remains mostly unchanged since 2005.
There is no guide or FAQ as to how ranks are attributed.
What we CAN tell you, is it is directly related to a members overall level of contribution & participation within the Newagemugen community forum.
Members who complete certain tasks or meet certain criteria are automatically promoted to higher ranks.
Certain ranks unlock special rights & privileges.
The higher the rank, the more exclusive and valuable the rewards.
Unlike regular mugen forums, Newagemugen rewards members who contribute/participate in the community.
IMPORTANT TIP
You do NOT have to be a God-tier Mugen creator or Digital Art overlord to rank up in Newagemugen.
All you have to be is positive, persistent, sociable, and most of all, yourself.
A community is only as good as it's conversation, and that conversation starts with YOU.
Some more mysterious ranks are hidden, and will be revealed here in the future.
But for now, all we can say is contribute, participate, support Newagemugen, and watch your rank rise....
Rank Classes:
TIER 1 - Initiation Ranks (AKA Prospect Ranks)
Tier 1 Ranks - also known as "test ranks" or "Induction ranks".
Ranks designed to test and filter all new potential community members we want/don't want - 80% of all new members never pass these ranks.
Tier 1 ranks do not hold any special privileges, but are the first stepping stones to greater ranks ahead.

TIER 2 - Warrior class Ranks
Unlike the previous Tier 1 prospect ranks, "Tier 2 Ranks" aka "Warrior Class" ranks, are the first true Newagemugen rank class.
New Members who have been officially accepted as part of the exclusive Newagemugen community.
Members who pass the Tier 1 rank induction test will easily attain these ranks.

TIER 3 - Warlord class Ranks
Tier 3 "Warlord class" Ranks, also known as "Premium" member ranks.
Intermediate level Members with a good level of mugen knowledge that participate & contribute to newagemugen forums regularly.
Mugen Youtubers/Content creators with 2-3+ years Mugen experience typically make up the majority this Rank class.

TIER 4 - Mystic class Ranks
Tier 4 or "Mystic class" Ranks, also known as "Allied" member ranks.
Dedicated, Newagemugen Members that go extra lengths to promote & innovate the community & forum.
Mugen content creators/youtubers with 4+ Years Mugen experience typically make up the majority of this rank class.

TIER 5 -Ascended class Ranks
Tier 5 "Ascended class" Ranks, also known as "Sworn" member ranks.
The first true "advanced" user rank class.
Regularly active Members, with above average mugen knowledge that are considered key members of the Newagemugen community.
Less than 10% of Members ever reach Tier 5, making it one of the hardest known rank classes to reach.

TIER X - Secret Class Ranks
Also known as VIP/Sponsor Ranks.
Our most important rank class. Only available to Donating members.
Tier X members have exclusive access to the most coveted, premium and exclusive VIP & High End private Mugen content.
Higher levels of contribution unlock higher rewards.

We do not use our community to engage in profiteering from our members.

Members should avoid these ranks, or take all necessary action/s required to remove them from their account as soon as possible.

Tier (α)lpha - Legacy Ranks
These ranks are no longer issued/obtainable.
Tier 0 ranks are mainly for staff/administration & database management purposes.

Ex-members of the PhantomG's and Club-Syndicate Forum groups that created what we now have here today.
One can not earn this rank - you must be born with it lol.
Administrators: The overseers, the gatekeepers, the guardians of Newagemugen.
Administrators are responsible for all moderation & decision making to ensure newagemugen is properly maintained.
Administrators are special nominated staff that answer only to the Founders.
Primordial Relic: Primordial Relics are dormant/inactive/retired/deceased members that were once cornerstones of the Newagemugen community.
Members that made well known important contributions to wider mugen community as a whole.
Their accounts, forum activity and post history are archived on our forum for historic purposes.- Pre-2018 discontinued ranks:
VIP: (DEPRECATED)
Members with VIP rank are OG members that have remained active in the Newagemugen community since its beginnings.This usergroup is due for deletion/reassessment in 2020.
UPDATE: This Usergroup has been discontinued & deleted as of 2022
(This is a legacy Newagemugen "User group" system from the old Newagemugen ranking system used between 2010-2015.)
Contributor: (DEPRECATED) Members that have demonstrated they have knowledge of the Mugen code, or have contributed something useful to the forum.These members have special privileges, such as their own private release threads, and promotional rights.Rank type: Unobtainable.This usergroup has been discontinued as of Jan 2020.
