I'm going to replace that fire, and add some crows. I decided to remove the layer in front of the statue since it doesn't look that good in mugen.

If y'all have any other ideas feel free to drop em' in my pm box. I could use some insight!

I suggest using stock footage for the fire, it'll look awesome!

A good friend of mine is creating fire for me via After Effects. I'm sure it'll look quite snazzy. Thanks for all the suggestions and interest, guys. It keeps me going.

I don't think this will be ever be finished, it's like my playground, I add shit I learn to it in hopes that it'll be good one day. :P

Honestly it depends on what footage you'd use. If it's fight footage I suppose, but it all depends, it'd have to match the theme of your screenpack of course.

Also, the greyscale look is not so good. If everything in that shot is on its own separate layer this has great potential. I assume you're doing comparison shots of old vs. new? The text for names and mode select was better in the old IMO, the newer one seems to bland and kind of hard to read. I feel dumb asking, but i feel obligated; you are going to have a symmetrical amount of randomselect boxes right? Not necessarily even symmetrical, but have the boxes end at the cut off side on the right. Because they're both different in the shot and it looks kind of off.

This is just personal gripe, however I'd completely replace that city. It doesn't look too well.

Yeah they're all different layers. I feel the problem is that it feels really crowded, maybe i should cut off some of the layers to avoid it feeling cluttered. As for the color I'm not too sure on what type of color scheme i want. Thanks for the reply.

Well it does look to be based off of a train stage, they're usually cluttered.

I don't have a specific suggestion, however I could say to have it a darker more contrasted color. Like a nice dark red/red gray concept, or perhaps blue, green etc whatever fits your fancy in darker colors.

I feel that it's too cluttered because there's too much going on in the bg. Maybe if you change the buildings in the bg, it'd look better.

I've gotta say, I've always liked this screenpack. It's versatile, easy to use and has "hood" appeal. Ya feel me? However, I do agree. It might be a bit crowded. For me, I think it was when you added the city reflection.

You were one of the first ones here to give me feedback. So this is the least I could do. Keep up the good work...

Alright, I guess I'll rid of some of them and stick with a few layers and maybe seperate them a bit. OH, uh should I keep the sprite with the water animation?

I have to disagree; If you're keeping the water animation then a reflection of the city is just a great touch and shouldn't be removed.

Personally, I think the water should be kept, but obviously remade into a color scheme like we talked about before.
