Memorial Spring Stage Note: I do plan on updating my Memorial Winter stage. Also i plan on having a mix with both of those stages in one stage one side spring the other side winter.

Your sun looks a little too bright and out of place in my opinion.

This stage is starting to get on my nerves. I failed many attempts to make something good looking in terms of either animations or color. I am just gonna try a new effect I tought about, to compensate I guess.

And only one or 2 deltas max... quite frustrating.




The Blur is here on purpose to simulate a zooming effect as you would see it in some movies.

The blur could very well work, I like the idea of it. Still I believe it should have that pause then come into focus from the intro. Also, with adding a fx type sound effect to give it a more solid feel.

not sure what you mean by fx type sound effect. If you mean a sound effect to synchronise with the visual effect, it's not recommended unless it's continuous, which is not the case here. It would have been maybe good but some characters have the annoying ability to stop time and therefore screw up synchronisation of sound with image...

I think I'm just gonna leave it like that as all my attemps to add more elements to this stage end up in something even less good looking...

We cant have separate fx sounds to go along with the stage in mugen so if you wanted to put fx sounds in the stage you have to add it in the music like in my memorial spring stage i have birds, water, and wind sound effects in my music that goes with the stage. Also it wouldnt be hard to make a sound effect continues with the right program.

What I said is that it is clearly impossible is to KEEP the synchronisation of a particular sound with a particular anim with a precise timing.


Let's say you have a big explosion at tick = 2000 and then every 1000 ticks.
You decide to synchronise the music + sound of the explosion in the mp3 with the animation.

If you use for example Dio or Jotaro (they can stop time), their super move fucks up the synchronization. Why ? Because the sound of the mp3 is put on pause, but the mugen timer (the tick) is not stopping.

You end up with a stage whith a big gap between the sound effect and the explosion every time you trigger a super move...

A lot of characters are stopping time during some supers... in my opinion it's not woth it UNLESS THE SOUND IS CONSTANT (like a turbine, fire, birds random sounds, wind, water)
I already tried by the past with my Airship stage where there is an explosion every 800 ticks precisely.
It didn't work out. :/


At least if the super moves were stopping BOTH the music AND the mugen timer. But they don't. I wonder why.

Well it was the color scheme I guess, i thought maybe you could have use the color scheme in some kind of way. Heck what do I know, I'm sure you will cook up something.

oh i see. I actually thought once about a black and white effect but couldn't figure out a consistent approach to it in a stage. I didn't wanna randomly make things in grayscale for no reason.

At least if it was possible to make the characters grayscale as well it would be nice. I wonder if it's possible through stage coding (i am pretty sure it is for characters coding)
