But its a really cool game at the same time (if you're into challenging and heartwrenching games)

How is the combat system? Do you get more control over your attacks and what not rather than pressing or holding a button like in Skyrim?

lol yeah man this game is insanely difficult, you just gotta manage your souls well and know good places to get souls and humanity. When you get farther in the game and want Humanity go to 'the depths' and kill a bunch of rats with the ring that gives you more drop item bonuses and for levelling up I used the painted world to kill a bunch of monsters near a save point continuously.

Also remember when you use your humanity to unhollow at a bonfire and become human again then you can summon online people to help you out in battles, you have to look for their summon sign on the ground though, and if you die then you wont be human anymore. Also you can stack your humanity up by using a bunch and you'll become stronger, but if you die and don't reclaim your bloodspot, then you lose all the humanity that you used to gain power.

It's a cool system but a lot of risk and reward. Y'all haven't seen anything if your just starting out lol wait untill you get to the boss where there's more then one and the crystal caves <_<

you have to go in the swamp underground called blighttown and believe me gen you are not going to like that area

OK, 1. i meant Skyrim was more realistic than Dark souls.
2. Moonlight Butterfly? pffff no i JUST beat Zodd/Taurus Demon yesterday and after that i spent a fuck ton of time soul farming. (only to lose all of it soon after <_<)

6.Blighttown's a Bitch didnt even make it all the way in before i got killed by one of those club wielding fuckers.

Moonlight butterfly is easy with ranged shit, i threw fire at it. took a while to kill (isnt really hard)
Read on the wiki its weak against lightning or something like that, oh well.

Blighttown made me turn the game off and go outside.
As soon as i got there the club fucker knocked me of the stage (im past that now but still)

Got to ash lake, ran pass hydra, got into the dragon covenant, prayed to the dragon hot an item that lets me turn into a dragon and breath fire then I ran behind the dragon, cut off his tail and got the dragon great sword which is waaaaaaaay more powerful than my Black Knight Sword+2. Only need 50 strength to wield it properly *sigh* gotta climb all the way back up through blighttown.....here goes..

there's another hydra? the first one fucked me up, or is that the same hydra i mentioned before? the dragon covenant is behind it? how the fuck do you pass it? fuck.

Not that you'd give a fuck now anyway, but yeah there's another hydra this one is located all the way down in the Ask Lake. To get there you have to go to Blighttown, climb down all the ladders and take the circular elevator to the next platform, climb down the last ladder, turn left and run like hell through the poison swamp till you see a tree trunk  sprouting up from the ground, get on it, walk all the way up till you get to the Undead Hollows, on the first branch there's a short cut to get to ash lake faster, walk all the way to the curve of the branch and roll off, you'll drop right next to if not on top of the stamina ring(it lets you recover stamina faster) keep going till you get to the area's with the basilisk then the mushroom people. Continue downward and you finally get to the ash lake. Now, you under no circumstances have to fight the hydra here, just take off all your armour and run like hell, follow the looooooong ass beach trail to the end and bam Dragon Covy is right there, when you're finished turn back around and make the climb back up ooooooor if you didnt use any bonfire's just use your homeward bone and teleport back to firelink.


Anywho....in no particular order I....

Killed the Blk kngt in the undead parish(this one was way easier than the first...)
Rang both those bells  
lost anywhere from 80,000+ to 100,000+ souls
Got this weird serpent in the firelink (dark covy guy)
Got the Gargoyle axe to +5 only need the green titanite to get the divine upgrade
Made the moonlight butterfly my bitch (sat back and let the npc take care of her)
Got the great scythe
still cant beat havel the cock
for some weird reason cant seem to bring myself to kill the wyvern.

oh and fuck rusty

nice, your almost at Anor Londo, the bosses there are insane. Atleast you'll be able to visit the painted world before you get there, it's good for leveling up and you do have a good weapon so maybe it's possible to beat the bosses by yourself.

MADE IT TO ANOR LONDO. God sen's fort was hard....boss was easy as shit..weird.
