I considered making this topic about ALL games, but I wanted to use characters that EVERYONE both recognized and could relate to.

Encase you haven't noticed, Ryu is my boy when it comes to Street Fighter. I'm actually a BIG Zangief fan, but in terms of personality, Ryu is most like me.

Ryu is a good natured, seamingly average fighter. Until you use him and you find at "average" doesn't quite define him. More like "well-rounded." He can adapt to most any situation and he's determined to get better no matter how long it takes. He's very honorable, so he won't take shortcuts. He strives to do his very best, and encourages others to do the same. That's me....

But he also has a dark side. Deep down, when pushed to his limits he will tap into this dark side. He isn't proud of it, but he knows that it's a part of him. So he continues to better himself in order maybe "harness" this power and use it at will, without the cost of losing his self-control(UMVC3.) This is also me...

I'm Ryu. Strong. Determined. Proud of what I do. And not just in mugen. In real life as well...
