So I finally got a chance to read up on some tuts but i'm stuck on something.

I have this pic here, it has more than 256 colors and so 'm trying to find out how to decrease the color count without showing too much colorloss.

Help.

Well, ya could use the RBG method, and I also cleaned the sprite for you, so it'll look better in MUGEN.

The RGB method is an option, yes.

When I come across certain sprites I know are going to be filled with color loss I tend to draw over them with a similar color, so it looks like much hasn't changed, but the color count has decreased a lot.

On certain sprites I also use the jigsaw method.

Or you could simply try to edit the sprite in PS or gimp by decreasing color contrast or brightness, or even editing the colors themselves.
