considering you chose projects im gonna assume this is a wip project for a character

overall the animation isnt bad but there are slight things i wanna point out
top anim his right pant leg(by the boot) on the last frame has 2 black pixels appear out of nowhere
Bottom anim his left foot needs to be more rounded in the other frames like the first frame,it looks weird the way it is now lol

but Like i said overall the anims seem good.

Only thing I'd advise is finding a way to give the second anim for life,he looks super stiff

needs more shading but in general its good,has that "3D" look to it

not sure if its the gif or not but the top part of the hood is messed up(I think its the gif)
Again,not sure WHAT to suggest specifically but maybe some leg movement to go with the rest of the anim(seriously like idk what to suggest on that :|

Your legs are completely stiff. And your hat doesn't turn in sync with the characters body, it stays there and recolors looking stiff as well. The viewers right hand on captain cold is very poorly done, it needs some more work, like transitioning on time with the rest of his body. It may be the .gif quality too, but there's 2 black lines that appear when he turns there's under his arms, there's also white pixels that appear above his gun. May I ask what your plan with him is? Are you coding him into mugen once you've finished spriting? If so what're your plans for in game implementing?


With some more practice, and time invested you could have a very nice concept here.

I usually start with a very rough animation, and refine it as I go.
I don't have many gameplay plans quite yet, but I'm thinking about basic moves.

I haven't animated the legs yet, I moved onto shooting so that I don't get bored with the character, because, each animation takes around 7-8 hours to refine.

I know you dont have many plans but is he gonna be SOLELY projectile based or is he not afraid to get in your face if he must?

if its the latter you could combine some melee and projectile moves for him^^

For anti-air, he could shoot in an upward angle so flying chars/chars that jump a lot are pretty much screwed

I'm doing the character in the format of a MVC character, so he'll have a lot of basic melee attacks.
